1. Who we are
This policy describes how i-investor.co processes personal information through i-investor.co, its investor portal and related support services. Our operational headquarters is at Bockenheimer Anlage 46, 60322 Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland. We also operate regional offices in New York and London.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and account information, including name, username, email address, telephone number and account credentials.
- Profile and contact information, including address, city, region, postal code and preferred language.
- Authentication information received from Google or Apple when you choose a third-party sign-in option.
- Investment, wallet and transaction information, including balances, deposit or withdrawal requests, public wallet addresses, network information and transaction references.
- Payment evidence and support records, including uploaded receipts, correspondence and contact-form submissions.
- Technical information, including IP address, browser, device, timestamps, cookie identifiers, security logs and page interactions.
- Information required for identity, fraud-prevention, compliance or legal checks where those processes apply.
3. How we use information
- To create, authenticate and maintain accounts.
- To provide portfolio, transaction, wallet and support functionality.
- To review funding and payout requests and maintain financial records.
- To protect accounts, investigate misuse and prevent fraud.
- To respond to enquiries and send service communications.
- To meet applicable legal, regulatory, accounting and reporting requirements.
- To improve platform reliability, accessibility and user experience.
- To measure marketing performance where valid consent has been provided.
4. Legal grounds
Depending on the service and jurisdiction, processing may be necessary to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as platform security and service improvement, or act on consent. Where processing relies on consent, it may be withdrawn at any time.
5. How information is shared
Information may be shared with carefully selected service providers that support hosting, databases, identity and OAuth authentication, email delivery, file storage, payment or wallet infrastructure, analytics, fraud prevention and professional advice. Information may also be disclosed to regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities when legally required.
We do not sell personal information for money. If advertising technology is used in a way treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under an applicable US state law, eligible users may exercise the corresponding opt-out right.
6. International transfers
Because i-investor.co operates across Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom and uses international technology providers, information may be processed outside the country where it was collected. Where required, we use an applicable adequacy decision, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
7. Retention
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including account operation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. Session and OAuth records expire sooner, while transaction and compliance records may need to be retained for longer periods.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include access controls, hashed credentials, protected sessions and restricted administrative tools. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Never send a password, private key or wallet recovery phrase to support.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; and complain to a competent supervisory authority. Some rights may be limited where retention or processing is required by law.
We do not currently use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on investors.
10. Children
The platform is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly create investment accounts for children.
11. Cookies
Our use of cookies and similar technology is explained in the Cookies Policy.

You may also complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location. We encourage you to contact us first so we can investigate the concern.

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
